Air Quality Management
in Universities

The Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) consists of 18 establishments spread over 9 different campuses.

Since the covid-19 pandemic, the comfort and health of teachers and students is at the heart of the university's concerns. It is with a view to performance and prevention that the UPC wished to monitor and control the Air Quality of its indoor spaces.

The University now uses the Spacewell Energy by Dexma platform as its main tool to monitor and manage data such as temperature, CO2 concentration, and humidity.

Here are some of the features of the "QaireUPC" project: 

• Installation of 850 sensors
• Accessibility of data in real-time
• Involvement of university members
