How can local authorities manage their energy efficiently?
When talking about decarbonisation, sustainability and reducing our energy use, we often look into large tenants or commercial buildings.
But what about public authorities? Either national or local, they manage a large portfolio of buildings with different uses. Town halls, schools, care homes, museums or libraries, among others.
The Frederiksberg Municipality is the most densely populated in Copenhagen with 100.000 inhabitants in 500.000m2. With more than 600 buildings on that area, they saw the opportunity and engaged with our partner NIRAS to start their journey towards energy efficiency.
