Our Senior Vice-President Xavi Novella opened the session briefly to welcome the attendees and keynote speakers.

This session has have a global approach to the European Energy Efficiency Directive and different applications in Spain and other countries.

GUEST SPEAKERS:

  • Pablo Dorronsoro, State Lawyer and member of Ernst & Young's Energy team will talk about the latest developments and what to expect from the European regulation on energy efficiency.

  • Guillermo López, Technical Advisor for Energy Efficiency of the Ministry for Energy Transition, will talk about trends in the energy market in Spain, the new Energy Saving Certificates and their application framework.

  • Lluis Morer, Head of the Energy Saving and Efficiency Area of the Institut Català de l'Energia (ICAEN), will give us a more practical view of the day-to-day work of his institution and of energy efficiency at regional level.

  • Joan Herrera, Director of Environment and Energy, El Prat de Llobregat City Council, will provide a brief summary of European regulations and how they've been adopted in Spain. Then, he'll share a real-life example from El Prat City Council.
