Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs): How & Where to invest

When we start an energy efficiency project, the most logical thing to do is to start with measures requiring less investment and move to those requiring a higher one. 

This is one of the principles on which the well known "Pyramid of Energy Saving and Efficiency" is based.

As you can see in the Pyramid of Energy Saving and Efficiency, one of the first measures that we should carry out refers to improvements in energy behaviour of the building's users. Next, we continue with measures that require investment. 

Keep in mind that the higher up the pyramid the ECMs (Energy Conservation Measures) are, the more investment you will need.
